Lode glossary
Schedule cascade
In one sentenceA schedule cascade is what happens when one landscape schedule change creates several downstream updates across customers, crews, contractors, suppliers, records, and internal notes. Lode prepares the cascade as one reviewable package.
A rain-out, supplier delay, equipment issue, or crew gap rarely changes one thing. It changes the customer message, crew plan, calendar, job note, supplier timing, and sometimes the invoice or proposal context.
Lode's role is to prepare the package: who needs an update, what should change, what stays held, and where the record needs to be updated after approval.
The operator approves the package or holds it. Lode should not silently reshuffle a live schedule.
